ANTIQUE SERVING TONGS
This piece has three visible hallmarks:
- "TE" Corresponds to the goldsmith, Thomas England of London, who used this design from 1739 onwards.
- Silhouette: certifies that the special tax on silver imposed from the 18th century onwards was paid. Between 1784 and 1890 the profile of the Sovereign, in this case George III, was stamped.
- Walking Lion: official hallmark used to identify silver in England.
We share the value and authenticity of unique pieces, the importance and care of crafts. Tradition, quality and elegance in the art of setting the table.
Antique pieces have, for us, a very special value both for their patina, which reflects the passage of time, and for their unique character.
