Timeless Heritage
Get together with friends, disconnect, enjoy nature. A warm and peaceful atmosphere, where contemporary pieces and recovered elements combine to create a balance between antique and modern.
For this meal, we used hand-woven embroidered tablecloth and napkins from the María Elena collection, flat, deep and bread plates from our Rosario tableware on knitted placemats from our collaboration with Isabel Prieto, antique individual salt shakers from Christofle, straight Passe-Partout blown glass cups, Inku jugs, and antique cutlery. We decorated with antique candlesticks and antique silver pheasants, and to serve we used antique sauce boats and different antique dishes and pedestals.
Seafood and lobster soup dinner
A FAMILY CELEBRATION
At Christmas, our table is transformed into a meeting place, where every detail reflects the warmth of being together. Between laughter and stories, we celebrate the value of family. Moments that remain, like the pieces that accompany them.
For this "moment" we used Maria Elena embroidered linen tablecloth; antique white Limoges porcelain tureen, plates and serving dishes with gold details combined with the Rosario tray; Biarritz cutlery in gold finish, glasses from the Passe-Partout collection and antique silver pitcher for the water and Inku veined pitcher for the wine. We decorated the table with antique candleholders.
"The art of sharing"
OUR THANKSGIVING MEAL
At this time of year, the table becomes a meeting place, where small gestures become big demonstrations of affection. Inviting our loved ones, sharing a meal and taking care of every detail are ways of expressing how much we value these moments together. The table is not just a place to eat, it is the heart of celebrations, where stories are woven together and memories take shape.
At Villa Las Perelli, we understand the art of the table as a way of coming together, of creating a unique space to celebrate the moments and relationships that give meaning to our lives.
For our Thanksgiving dinner in Berenis, each guest was served with a dinner plate, deep plate, bowl and bread plate from our Rosario tableware on hand-knitted placemats from our collaboration with Isabel Prieto, L glasses and M wide glasses from our Ondarreta glassware, Biarritz cutlery in black washed finish and Melita 100% Italian linen napkins with limited edition handmade acorn embroidery. We used our trays from the Rosario collection to plate the turkey and the ventresca with peppers, and a selection of antique pieces for the rest of the menu. We served a hot stock in an antique silver-plated metal jug, the fabada in an antique silver-plated tureen and the turkey gravy in an antique gravy boat from England. Finally, we decorated with an elegant pair of silver pheasants.
A SUMMER LUNCH
GAZPACHO BEATRIZ STYLE
We always like to cook with fresh local ingredients. We usually shop at the market, where we can see the products and taste it. One of our favourite summer dishes is gazpacho. In our houses, from May to September, there is always gazpacho in the fridge. You can see Beatriz's recipe in the ‘Recipes’ section.
For this moment, we serve the gazpacho in the deep plates of our Rosario dinner service, with flat plate and bread plate from the same collection. We serve the garnish in the small bowls from our Ondarreta glassware, and use the jug and M glasses for the water. We used Biarritz cutlery in matt black stonewashed finish, square tablecloth from our Amelia collection and Guigui napkin.
COFFEE AND CAKE
A SNACK AT HOME
We love to bring back the "moment" of the afternoon snack and enjoy it with friends and family. Having a coffee with a piece of sponge cake and extending conversations until dinner time is one of our favourite moments.
You can see our recipe for ricotta sponge cake in the "Recipes" section.
For this snack, we have combined an antique porcelain tableware Alice from Sweden, with white Italian linen tablecloth Amelia, napkins from our collaboration with the New York artist Carly Kuhn x Villa Las Perelli, Biarritz cutlery in black washed finish and wide glasses M from our Ondarreta glassware.
DINNER FOR TWO
TIME TO CARE
It is always a good day to prepare a special dinner. We personally like to offer a moment together, a way to slow down and enjoy each other's company.
We have used linen tablecloth with hand embroidery from the Maria Elena collection and round placemat and bread plate in green knitted fabric from our collaboration Isabel Prieto x Villa Las Perelli. Melita napkins; handmade earthenware flat and deep plates from our Rosario collection made for Villa Las Perelli, Biarritz cutlery in black stonewashed finish, Inku veined glass jug, wine glasses from the Passe-Partout collection, glasses from our Ondarreta collection made for Villa Las Perelli; and antique pieces such as the silverplated serving dish, the salt shakers, the serving spoon and fork and the candle holder.
Dinner for two
A DIFFERENT MENU FOR A SPECIAL DINNER
The mix of antique and modern is one of the hallmarks of our studio. For this dinner we have used antique pieces bought abroad. We like to bring back the past and those beautiful and practical objects that are no longer in use.
We have used square tablecloth and round placemats from our Amelia collection and napkins with long fringes model Cristina, flat plate, soup plate and bread plate in handmade earthenware from the Rosario collection produced for Villa Las Perelli, Biarritz cutlery in gold finish, Inku veined individual jugs, wine and champagne glasses from the Passe-Partout collection; and antique pieces such as the silver plated dishes, the salt shakers, the little cups with lemon, the candle holder and the pair of pheasants.
Spaghetti Wednesday
ON WEDNESDAYS WE EAT PASTA AT HOME
When we were little, we ate spaghetti at home on Wednesdays. Our father prepared them for us with cockles. They were our "alle vongole e pomodorini" Perelli. We always invited friends from school that day and looked for old and traditional recipes. Another of our favorites were the carbonara (with guanciale, pecorino Romano, tuorlo d'uovo, pepe nero e acqua di cottura ).
For this moment we prepared spaghetti aglio, olio e basilico and burrata on trays from the Rosario collection, Olive nere e capperi on small trays from the same collection, carbonised wood trays from the Passe-partout collection underneath, grated parmigiano in bowl, deep, dinner and dessert plates from the Rosario collection, hand-knitted organic cotton placemats from the Isabel Prieto for Villa Las Perelli, table cloth and napkin from the Amelia collection in 100% linen manufactured in Italy, glasses from the Ondarreta collection, Passe-partout glasses, and a selection of antique pieces: serving cutlery, alpaca piece with oil warmer, gravy boat, water jug and candle holders.
Breakfast on vacation
SWEET AND SALTY BUFFET
Breakfast is one of the moments we like the most, especially on holidays or weekends, when we have time to enjoy it. We love to prepare a sweet and salty buffet, with the new recipes that we have been tasting the past days. There is a competition with points included, to see which one is the most successful, most beautiful and best presented. We always mix antique and modern tableware and it is "compulsory" that the table looks stunning.
For this "moment" we used Amelia tablecloth and Maria Elena napkins in 100% linen made in Italy. Cups (cappuccino, coffee and espresso), plates, bowls, teapot and jug in white porcelain from the Base collection, antique pedestals in white Limoges porcelain with gold details, Copper Chemistry jug with copper handle, glasses from the Ondarreta collection, champagne glass with yoghurt and veined jug used as a vase from Inku; and antique silver-plated pieces such as the fruit cups, the coffee pot, the toast rack, the cake stand, the sugar bowl, knives and serving cutlery.
Breakfast in bed
A SPECIAL BREAKFAST, FOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF DAY
Having breakfast in bed is one of life's small pleasures. Preparing a tray of delicious bites to enjoy the morning's quiet time and extend it even further is always a good excuse after a busy week or on vacation. A fine tea, a fruit bowl and a yogurt, or a lemon cake or an avocado toast with a poached egg... any menu for this time is appealing.
For this "moment" we have used an antique nickel silver tray, with Beatriz linen napkin as a placemat, a 100% linen cocktail napkin made in Italy Fuencisla collection, a matte bronze washed finish coffee/tea spoon from Biarritz collection, glazed finish teapot and cappuccino/tea cup and milk jug size S in glass from Passe-Partout collection, tall flat plate size XS from Base collection, glass size XS from Ondarreta collection, antique nickel silver cups.
Roasted Coquelet
ROAST FOR A COLD DAY
At home, we like to roast individual pieces, to make it simpler to serve them. The recipe is easy and with a tasty side dish it's a great meal for a winter's day.
In the "Recipes" section we explain ours.
We have used our Rosario tableware to serve them and the old French platters to carry them to the table. So we don't burn ourselves, we have our hand-knitted cloths from our collaboration with I Isabel Prieto for Villa Las Perelli.
We like to present the garnish on small plates from the Base collection and use Biarritz's gold cutlery to "sophisticate" the roast. The napkins with handwoven embroidery by a Sicilian craftsman are from our María Elena collection. The silver gravy boat and the cutlery to hold the chicken leg are antiques.
Aperitif by the fireplace
AN IMPROVISED MEETING, A SNACK FOR TWO
Sitting by the fireplace listening to the crackling of the wood and feeling the warmth is one of the most pleasurable rituals of our winters. An aperitif that invites you to sit around the table and chat for hours or simply contemplate and relax at the end of the day. A way of making an everyday occasion special, taking care of the details and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
For this "moment" we used a black wooden board and tray from the Passe-Partout collection to serve the cheese and bread, antique silver-plated cups for the olives and nuts and the XL size glass from our Ondarreta collection for the grissini. For the red wine, we used the straight design glasses from the Passe-Partout collection and the natural colored knitted "bread plate" from the Isabel Prieto x Villa Las Perelli collection as coasters. 100% linen cocktail napkin made in Italy from the Fuencisla collection, porcelain low plates size S from the Base collection, and other antique pieces such as the candle holders and the knives with wooden handles.
Breakfast on tray
BREAKFAST WITH GÂTEAU AU CHOCOLAT ET NOISETTES
In the mornings we like to read the newspapers before leaving for the studio, while having breakfast. We each have our favorite cup.
We believe that taking care of the details of every moment we live around the table improves the experience, even the dishes taste better...
For this breakfast, we combined antique coffee pot with black wooden tray, cappuccino/tea cup with saucer, porcelain milk jug and XS dinner plate from the Passe-Partout collection; cocktail napkin from the Fuencisla collection and stonewashed finish moka spoon from the Biarritz collection.
