ANTIQUE FRENCH TUREENS SARREGUEMINES

The earthenware (in French, faïence) from Sarreguemines was a ceramic production that took place in the French town of the same name between 1790 and 2007.

A family-run industry that was born during the French Revolution and endured across generations. It was founded by Paul Utzschneider, later led by his son-in-law Alexandre de Geiger, and subsequently by the latter’s son, Paul de Geiger.

These three men propelled this small town to the very top of the earthenware industry: from the 19th century onwards, Sarreguemines pieces could be found all over the world.

We have selected different antique tureens from different places in Europe.

We share the value and authenticity of unique pieces, the importance and care of crafts. Tradition, quality and elegance in the art of setting the table.
