Its name is inspired by our summers in San Sebastián, in the afternoons we enjoyed on Ondarreta beach
Our Ondarreta collection is made of borosilicate glass, a lightweight and high temperature resistant material, thanks to its high coefficient of thermal expansion.
Borosilicate glass was originally used for pharmaceutical purposes. It was the German chemist Otto Schott who first marketed it in 1893. However, it was not until two decades later that it began to be used in the manufacture of kitchen products.
