The knitted pieces designed in collaboration with Isabel Prieto are made of 100% organic cotton wool, manufactured in Europe.
Each piece is handmade in a workshop in Madrid.
It is of plant origin and cultivated in cotton fields of tropical and subtropical regions, such as America, Africa and India. The rise of cotton began in the 19th century with the Industrialisation. Nowadays it accounts for almost half of the world's production of textiles.
Cotton is a material that is fresh, light, transpirable and very soft to the touch. There are different types, depending on the place of origin as well as the length and thickness of the fibre.
