English silver tongs 1937

The piece has four visible hallmarks:
- "EV" : Corresponds to the goldsmith, Emile Viner located in Bath Street and later Broomhall Street in Sheffield.
- Crown: indicates the English office that made the verification, in this case the crown corresponds to the Sheffield office.
- Walking Lion: the official contrast used to identify silver in England.
- Letter 'u': indicates the year; in this case this letter, together with the other contrasts, corresponds to the year 1937.
