ANTIQUE SAUCE BOATS
Antique English silver sauce boat
This small antique sauce boat presents four visible hallmarks:
- "C&S": Corresponds to the goldsmith, in this case "Clark & Sewell" of Birmingham
- Three ears of wheat and a sword: indicates the English office that carried out the verification in this case, it corresponds to Chester, an office that closed in 1962.
- Walking lion: official hallmark used to identify silver in England
- Letter "𝕮": indicates the year, in this case it corresponds to the year 1928
We have selected different antique sauce boats made of silver, nickel silver and other silver-plated metals from the 20th century from different places in Europe.
We share the value and authenticity of unique pieces, the importance and care of crafts. Tradition, quality and elegance in the art of setting the table.
Old pieces have, for us, a very special value both for their patina, which reflects the passage of time, and for their unique character.

Spaghetti Wednesday
ON WEDNESDAYS WE EAT PASTA AT HOME
When we were little, we ate spaghetti at home on Wednesdays. Our father prepared them for us with cockles. They were our "alle vongole e pomodorini" Perelli. We always invited friends from school that day and looked for old and traditional recipes. Another of our favorites were the carbonara (with guanciale, pecorino Romano, tuorlo d'uovo, pepe nero e acqua di cottura ).
For this moment we prepared spaghetti aglio, olio e basilico and burrata on trays from the Rosario collection, Olive nere e capperi on small trays from the same collection, carbonised wood trays from the Passe-partout collection underneath, grated parmigiano in bowl, deep, dinner and dessert plates from the Rosario collection, hand-knitted organic cotton placemats from the Isabel Prieto for Villa Las Perelli, table cloth and napkin from the Amelia collection in 100% linen manufactured in Italy, glasses from the Ondarreta collection, Passe-partout glasses, and a selection of antique pieces: serving cutlery, alpaca piece with oil warmer, gravy boat, water jug and candle holders.
Roasted Coquelet
ROAST FOR A COLD DAY
At home, we like to roast individual pieces, to make it simpler to serve them. The recipe is easy and with a tasty side dish it's a great meal for a winter's day.
In the "Recipes" section we explain ours.
We have used our Rosario tableware to serve them and the old French platters to carry them to the table. So we don't burn ourselves, we have our hand-knitted cloths from our collaboration with I Isabel Prieto for Villa Las Perelli.
We like to present the garnish on small plates from the Base collection and use Biarritz's gold cutlery to "sophisticate" the roast. The napkins with handwoven embroidery by a Sicilian craftsman are from our María Elena collection. The silver gravy boat and the cutlery to hold the chicken leg are antiques.
